Metro 2033 Torrent is a first-person shooter video game in the survival horror genre developed by 4A Games and published by THQ. The player will encounter various human and mutant enemies (mutants consisting of wolf-like and gargoyle-like forms) that can be killed by various weapons. The game includes traditional weapons like pistols and shotguns, as well as more creative weapons like pneumatic crossbows. In flames, human enemies blind and attack the player from the side, while mutant enemies stay in the shadows and try to eat them. Alternatively, the player can use stealth to evade their enemies or to kill them silently. This can be done by using a throwing knife to kill an enemy from a distance or by shooting an enemy with a stun gun.
If the player is shot or bitten during a fight, they can either wait for their recovery or immediately use a medical device to heal them. You play as Artyom, a young man from VDNKh station who embarks on a perilous journey to the heart of the metro, hoping to save his station from an impending danger. As you progress through the game, you’ll encounter a variety of fantastic characters and factions, each with their own goals and stories, adding depth and complexity to the post-apocalyptic world.
