Ace Combat Assault Horizon Torrent

Ace Combat is one of the most beloved franchises in the video game industry. It's the most arcade-like and fun version of the flight simulator we've seen throughout console history. Fifteen years after the first installment came out on PlayStation, and just over four since the last home game in the series hit Xbox 360—the notable Ace Combat 6—we have this Assault Horizon. Things have changed quite a bit. A lot, like video games themselves these days.

Namco Bandai's announced project to revive the aviation saga under the development of Project Aces was an important announcement for several reasons. First, because PlayStation 3 would receive a game in this series for the first time—Fires of Liberation was exclusive to Xbox 360—and second, because it gave a twist to the already important saga, which at first glance was revealed with only a few seconds of trailers and images. To both facts, we need to add some numbers: despite being a minor genre, the series has sold more than ten million copies. The franchise is no stranger. And neither is the formula they've chosen to use in this eighth installment.
